Medio Residence
As chairperson of the Coastside Design Review Committee I was able to assist an applicant in getting the design they wanted within the requirements of the design guidelines. Later, that applicant approached me about designing a spec house for them and their associates in the same area. During this process I assisted in selecting a property for purchase, all due diligence, design and approvals. Due to the prominent location of the site, the varied styles of architecture in the direct vicinity and the speculative nature of the investment I felt making a statement was the best decision. One of the best compliments I have received in my career was after the design approval meeting - “I don’t know how you did that.” Thank you. This project is currently under construction.
