The challenge was a tenant space for an Italian Restaurant that had high volumes surrounded by low volumes. Sogno means "Dream" in Italian. This was the owners dream. A modern interpretation of a Italian restaurant. Shapes carved out of the high volume like a gothic cathedral. Light entering the space from behind the volumes like stained glass. Warm rustic light fixtures like candles lit in prayer. A warm space on a cool night surrounded by community, looking up at the majesty of the city.
